Mediastudio for Intangible Cultural Heritage (ICH)

The Mediastudio ICH is a non-profit association registered in Austria designed to initiate, realise and scientifically consult projects in the field of Intangible Cultural Heritage.

Our field of activity is the documentation of diverse living cultural heritage and the use of multimedia-based forms as a medium and the means for seeing and understanding people and places better.

What is our ICH? What is the ICH of other cultures? Who are the custodians of ICH?

Working, wherever possible, in close collaboration with the custodians of traditions we want to raise awareness for the importance of ICH. With our projects we aim to help reveal the common and the unknown, the valuable and the everyday and to allow manifold and contemporary perspectives of intangible cultural heritage.
